Where to shoP

Head into Ibiza’s old town for a stroll through the white-washed streets and wonder into quaint boutiques. Saunter into Vicente Ganesha’s colorful store, check out ‘It Girl’ store De la Vali, Taar Wiloughby’s all pink boutique, play dress-up at Le Studio and wonder up through the castle walls to Plaça de la Vila for dinner at La Oliva and be sure to pop into Annie’s Ibiza next door for the best dresses in town!

best places to see es vedra

Es Vedrá is a large rock located off the southwest coast of Ibiza, offering the most breathtaking sunset views on the island. Its monolithic limestone formation is reputed to be the third most magnetic spot in the world. Spend the day at Cala d’Hort and have lunch at El Carmen restaurant, and stay until sundown. For the more adventurous travelers, hike up to Torre des Savinar (Torre del Pirata), a historic watchtower offering panoramic views of this magnetic rock. Book an early dinner at Es Boldadó to enjoy delectable seafood dishes with unparalleled sunset views. Other quieter beaches with front row views, include Cala Carbó, which features a traditional toes-in-the-sand chiringuito. If you don’t mind the crowds, head to El Mirador de Es Vedrá and its mystical cave. Ensure you arrive early to get a good parking spot!

Food and Drink

Discover a selection of top restaurants, whether you’re looking for beachfront dining, charming old town gems or gourmet hot spots off the beaten path. A must visit is Casa Jondal, a Jet-set favorite for a 5 star culinary experience and premium cocktails. Chiringuito offers a chic and a delectable menu with stunning views to Formentera. Es Torrent is set on a tranqul pebble beach and is famous for their traditional Ibicenco fish dishes. For more inland options book a table at family-owned Ibiza staple La Paloma, A Mi Manera is another northern culinary gem, or stroll around the hip town of Santa Gertrudis and dine at Macao where people watching is almost as good as the gastronomic experience.

top beaches on the island

Ibiza is famous for its warm, crystal-clear waters and spectacular white sand beaches. Cala Compte is definitey a favorite on the south side of the island with lots of nooks to explore like its secret cave to the left of its more secluded neighbor, Cala Escondida. Cala Gracioneta is another unmissable beach, which can be topped off with a lazy cocktail at its upscale beachfront restaurant of the same name. Crystal clear waters meet laid back luxury at Cala Bassa beach. The north of the island, known for its laid back atmosphere and wilder countryside, has spectacular beaches more suitable for morning swims. Cala Nova is a favorite amongst local surfers, and provides a great selection of gourmet restaurants like Atzaró Beach and Aiyanna. Cala Llonga is another wonderful beach for morning dips and lounging on sunbeds with a good book. End a perfect day at Amante restaurant, where advance reservations are essential.

From secluded coves to vibrant beach bars, discover the best spots to witness the spectacular sunsets that give Ibiza its magical allure. A top choice is the iconic Sunset Ashram in Cala Comte. Drive down the winding beach road to Cala Molí and raise a glass while the sun sinks at El Silencio. Another exquisite vantage point is at Elements on Benirrás Beach, where crowds gather to watch the famous drum circle every Sunday. For the lovers and helpless romantics, catch the last rays at Los Enamorados in a quiet bay off of Portinax Beach. Xarraca is a cozy little bay right next to Six Senses and features the perfect toes-in-the-sand beach bar to sit and enjoy the spectacle in the sky!
